The BEST June Engagement Posts for MAXIMUM FB interaction

You ready for some Mindblowingly Good June Engagement Posts? Increasing FB group interaction is as easy as sharing some good old engagement posts. Doing this consistently in your FB group results in guests making connections with you and with each other. (which is the WHOLE point of direct sales right – customers buy from people they KNOW, LIKE and TRUST) So, without further adieu –

#1 Celebrate National Donut Day – (the First Friday in June) with your group by finding out what the name of the Fancy Donut is that they just ordered! Make sure you share yours with them – believe me, they WANT to know. Mine is Vanilla Frosted Donut Holes – which sould incredibly yummy to me. I might have to ask for some extra “frosting” on the side to dip them in!!

#2 Celebrate Flip Flop Friday – (the Third Friday in June) with your group by having them share the NAME of the Nail Polish they are showing off in their flip-flops today! (I know you just looked . . .) Mine is Boisterous White – that’ll look REALLY great against my nice PALE skin. Ba-ha-ha!! (If only my pasty skin would actually tan!) What’s yours???

#3 National Road Trip Day – (the Friday BEFORE Memorial Day – so it’s actually in May) celebrate with your group by having them tell you ALL about their fictitious Summer trip! I’ll be traveling by boat to Boston with my love . . . Sounds romantic, right??? I bet he’ll think so, too!! So where are YOU going????

#4 National Kissing Day – (on June 19th) – have your group pucker up and name their “kisser”. Today, I am Pouty Star. Oh-la-la – that sounds like a GREAT name for a lipstick.

#5 Celebrate National Sunglasses Day – (June 27th) – with your group by finding out thier Sunglasses Style. We all have a style whether we think we do or not. My Sunglasses Style is Chic Cat Eye. I KNOW you want to share your answers with me – PLEASE DO!! Comment here and tell me what YOUR answers were.

How do I Choose a Direct Sales Sponsor?

HOW do I choose a Sponsor?

You have discovered the “PERFECT” direct sales company for you . . . you are passionate about the product(s) and cannot wait to share them with your friends and family – BUT you have a choice to make –  You know mulitiple friends/family members who are distributors with this company.  HOW do you choose the best sponsor for YOU!!!  Do you immediately go with family – because, duh they’re blood.  Do you choose a friend that would DISOWN you if you sign with someone else?  Must it be the FIRST person who introduced it to you?  HOW DO YOU CHOOSE? Everyone WANTS to enter thru the RED door – but how do you make sure red is the best fit for you?

There is definitely NOT one right way.  However, there are most certainly some things you should look at prior to making your decision – as it WILL make a difference in your overall experience with your soon to be company.   Picking the right sponsor can make or break your experience.

  •  Personality/Vibe – – Take a deep look at the personality/vibe your potential Sponsor has.  Do you MESH with them?  Are they easy to get along with?  You know that saying,
  •                                         “YOUR VIBE ATTRACTS YOUR TRIBE”
  • YEP!  It’s true.  It’s helpful if it’s an easy relationship.   If you are always butting heads – even familial blood won’t make the situation better. Are they someone you WANT to spend time with?  If you are ALL in with your company – you’ll often have the opportunity to travel to trainings & events.   If they aren’t someone you want to emulate and become like – – it will probably be beneficial to sign with someone else.
  • Training – – What sort of trainings does your Sponsor offer?  Will she train you via phone calls, zoom calls, live meetings?  Will it matter if she is long-distance or near by?  Does she hold team meetings?  How often?  What is the benefit of attending? (what is taught) Training is more important than I can emphasize.  This might seriously be more important than the others. Good training enables you to know the products you offer, HOW to offer them and ways to become better at your business.
  • Location – – Is she local to you?  If she does lots of training via FB group or website – this may not matter.  (personal preference) If she isn’t local – does she know of a local distributor with whom you could connect for meetings – so you still get some local support?
  • Support – – What sort of support does she offer to her downline?  Does she have specific business hours?  Is she a night owl or an early morning person?  Will she care if you call with questions – or is email or text better?
  • Experience – – How long has SHE been with the company?  Time doesn’t necessarily matter – you can assess your friend/family member.  YOU know if they are a self-starter, if they read everything they can get their hands on, if they are a DOER.  You’ll be able to tell if they are in this for REAL.  Follow your gut.  Sometimes an ‘I JUST SIGNED UP’ distributor is the best to sign with and sometimes . . . not so good.  Like everything else – make the decision based on what you know about them as a person and who they are.

Long story short – make an educated decision.  Sit down and list the pros and cons.  Don’t let others’ situations or pressure make the decision for you.  Ultimately – it should be the BEST decision for you.  If there is too much pressure one way or the other – maybe it’s best to find someone else to sign up with.  You can do this by going directly to the website and searching for distributors close to you or using a site like THIS.  You are not obligated to do ANYTHING specific.  This is your life decision.  It’s your RED door.  It will greatly impact your future with your “PERFECT” company – so make sure you spend a few minutes and make sure it is the best one for YOU!

Digital Raffle : Increase your Leads at Vendor Events

Raffles.  Giveaways.

They definitely attract people to your booth at a vendor event.

Who doesn’t love FREE?

Here are 5 Reasons you’ll Fall in LOVE with using Digital Raffles at vendor events.

  1. Handwriting – Reading handwriting on paper raffle entries can be a nightmare. People often fill them out SUPER fast often resulting in HARD TO READ handwriting. You enter the information not being able to tell if it’s an a or an o – and HOPE you chose wisely. Avoid this entire problem by having them input their information digitally.

2. No need for Wifi – One of the biggest drawbacks at big events is that EVERY Vendor is trying to use the WIFI – which often makes it slow or IMPOSSIBLE to use – or you have to pay an absorbitant fee to access it. Eliminate that by using an app to house your Digital Raffle.

By using the right app – you can access the survey in offline mode and it sets it up so that as soon as someone has completed the survery – it returns to the homepage which entices the next passerby to enter – for example, “Enter Here to WIN a FREE LipSense LipColor”.

The Survey App I chose to use (and will CONTINUE to use) is Quick Tap Survey. I would suggest that you intially look up the differnet apps on your desktop and then compare and find the one that works best for what YOU’ll be using the app for. (I am NOT an affiliate for Quick Tap Survey – just a VERY happy Customer).

They help you create your initial survey and its SOOOO easy to do. You CAN administer it from a cell phone but I’ll show you in a minute – how to do it from an ipad and WOW everyone at your event. You can access the app intitally FREE for a 14 day trial after which you can choose to pause your subscription/choose your subscription level or cancel your access. My Opinion is that for Vendor Events – IT IS WORTH every penny!!)

2. No More Lost Slips – Raffle slips are often small and easily get lost at the event or once you are home. Eliminate this by having ALL interested parties info digitally entered and then you can print out a spreadsheet of the info once you get home and the event is over. If you are working the event with multiple consultants you can even print out a spreadsheet based on WHOM was selected that they spoke with.

3. NEVERENDING Information Entry – entering names, phone numbers, emails takes TIME. When using a digital raffle app you can easily use a program called Zapier to Link between the Digital Raffle and the Email program you use – eliminating at least ONE source of entry. You can also use Zapier to link to your customer program as well as many other programs you possibly use. Zapier is a program that helps AUTOMATE things you do repeatedly to decrease your overall workload. Using this program (Zapier) will CHANGE the way you do business!!

4. Make Raffle Entry FUN Again – Entice Passersby to stop and fill out your Raffle form with the way it’s presented . . . People who otherwise wouldn’t stop – will be enticed by your HOMESCREEN that announces the Raffle and the FREE item you’ll be giving away! Some people are just shy and although they might not stop to talk – they are intrigued with what you are selling. These leads will definitely NOT be as HOT as the ones you talk to and interact with – but you NEVER know if they’ll turn into sales at one point.

5. Let the APP randomly pick the winner(s) for you – once you are back in the land of eternal wifi – you can easily have the app randomly pick the Raffle winner(s) for you. No need for other apps or subscriptions to raffle picker websites.

So, come into the 21st Century – go digital.  Digital Raffles at vendor events are ALL the rage!!

5 Things you NEED to get started to increase your leads at vendor events?

  1. Pick which app you’ll use. I use Quick Tap Survey. Use a desktop to get on, create your survey/raffle and choose the plan you’ll use once your 14 day trial is up.
  2. Locking Tablet Stand – In order to ensure passersby don’t RUN OFF with your Ipad and that they SEE the screen enticing them to enter your Raffle – I highly suggest THIS Tablet Stand. You’ll want one for EACH Ipad you are using. (I have 2.)

These stands are made of metal – the little shelf is useful to hold brochures or a sign that says Enter to Win – they are a little heavy – but PERFECT for use in the Vendor Setting. The screen area will hold Ipad 2,3,4 or Air (area is adjustable) up to a 9.7inch screen.

3. Ipad – you MAY use your phone to distribute the survey – but it’s not as enticing to passersby AND if you’re with a customer – you’re losing access to many that are walking by. So, I HIGHLY suggest an ipad. Actually, if possible – I’d encourage you to have 2 available. Then you can reach multiple passersby at one time. Aim one at each “edge” of your booth – so no matter which direction they are walking in – they see it!

4. Long Cord – This is NOT a Requirement – but certainly nice to have, especially for those LONG vendor days. You can charge the ipads at night – but inevitably – they will at some point run out of power during long events. This long cord will run perfectly THRU the stand pictured above and plug directly into your Ipad and your charged charger so you can replenish it’s power and help it last thru the entire event day.

**USER TIP: plug cord into Ipad each day BEFORE locking it into place – so you only have to plug into the charged charger when battery begins to run low.

5. Charger – Whenever we deal with anything digital – it is ALWAYS smart to have a charger on hand to RE-Charge when our items start to run low. Grab a few and always keep them charged and on hand – this is one of my favorites – it is super light weight and holds a LOT of charge.

What to Include in your SeneGence/LipSense Hostess Coaching Packet

More and more EVERYTHING in our lives are turning DIGITAL.  What to include in your Hostess Coaching Packet is NO different.  Today, most hostesses prefer to receive an email, text or FB msg including the document(s) needed.  There are still a few that hold out for the paper packet – but to know what they prefer – you have to KNOW your hostess.

When I book the party – I am very upfront and ask how they’d like to communicate with me – whether they prefer FB msg, text, email or a phone call.   THIS simple act clears up SOOOOO much other would-be frustration.  Do yourself AND your hostesses a favor and IMPLEMENT THIS NOW!!!!!!  I write that information right into my follow-up program and it is a goldmine!!

SeneGence Hostess Coaching

1.  Paper Packet – A paper packet can be purchased as a SeneGence Distributor in your Back Office when placing an order.  Item is called Glamour Demo Hostess Pak and costs $3.00,   It is in the same section from which you purchase Beauty Books and Acclaim Magazines.

5 SeneGence/LipSense CLASSIC In-Home Party Themes

When hosting a party of ANY kind – a THEME always makes it easier.  Plus, having a catchy title draws in your guests. Their desire to attend is MAGNIFIED.

EX – Which party would you rather attend: Linda’s LipSense Party or Linda’s LipSense 80’s Girls Night?  No brainer, right?

Today we are talking 5 CLASSIC In-Home SeneGence/LipSense Party Themes.  

By Classic – I am referring to the themes that are ALWAYS in style – you can use them year round because they are ALWAYS in Season.

1. Lips & Sips – The Sips can refer to whatever the hostess wants to serve: wine, bubbly, green smoothies or soda.  This definitely turns into a “try it on” party and then “test it out” with your drink.  This type of party always yields great sales – actually trying the LipSense on – almost always sways them to purchase multiple colors.   This theme is perfect for a hostess whose friends haven’t yet tried LipSense.  (Ideally 10-15 guests).

2. Makeup & Mimosas (or Muffins) – You can change the “Title” based on the time of day and the hostess.  This theme is more focused on the SeneGence makeup than the LipSense and is usually popular with repeat hostesses – whose friends have already been exposed to the LipSense.  Definitely make sure that they get to “test” MOST of the makeup on their hands, if not faces.  The idea is to get them to feel how the products make your skin so soft, smooth and how they just absorb into the skin.  (Ideally 10-15 guests).

3. Glam It Up : FULL Glam Makeover – This party theme is definitely makeup focused – and WILL take longer than an hour which is why it should be reserved for the hostess and NO MORE than 5 guests.   You’ll need brushes, a mirror and a Seneblends palatte paper for each guest (all can be purchased in your SeneGence Back Office Quick Order). They’ll do all their own application – but you’ll “model” for them either on yourself, your hostess or a different guest for each thing.  You will also need the Glamour Demo kit OR a GOOD amount of makeup – but the ladies LOVE this.  Take time to teach them fun techniques, contouring, mixing pearlizer in with their foundation and how to choose the best colors for their eyes.   I suggest using the Seneblends Blank Profile Sheet as a “placemat” for each guest.  (This can be found in the SeneGence back office: resources, glamour demo, seneblends blank profile sheet).  Each guest can use this “placemat” to record the colors they use and favor and keep the sheet to ensure they order the right products.  (Ideally hostess and NO MORE than 5 guests).

4. Wash ‘Yo Face Pajama Party – This theme definitely focuses on skincare.  Guests come in their pajamas and actually get a chance to use the entire skincare line.  I like to then send each of them home with a Skincare sample. Seeing the results after using the skincare a few days in a row is amazing!!!!  I like to do a short demo while the late guests arrive and go RIGHT to washing their face – – then you can sit back down and peruse the catalog while they are all touching their super soft skin.  Your host can play this up however they want, I’ve seen pillow fights ensue – a girls night movie AFTER the party and even pizza and popcorn.  (Ideally 10-15 guests).

5. Spa Party  – This theme is based on our Solutions line as well as body care and definitely utilizes the facial resurfacer, polishing exfoliator and detox mask.  You could title it, “Spa – ahhhhhhh” or “Relax, unwind and clear your mind”.  You could ask them to bring a bathrobe, come with a bare face and play soft background music.  Have the hostess offer a “fun” infused water – like cucumber, lemon & mint or watermelon & mint.  Pinterest has lots of recipes for spa or infused water.  We all need time to relax – we live in a busy, fast-paced world and there is NEVER enough time to relax – esp with girlfriends – so this is a REALLY fun, sought after party.   (Ideally 10-15 guests).

5 SeneGence/LipSense ENGAGING FaceBook Party Themes

SeneGence Facebook Parties – you either LOVE them or HATE them. Personally, I LOVE them!!!!

If they are done Properly and guests are ONLY added once they give their permission and NOT randomly added – they can be super successful and ALOT of fun for ALL involved!  For SeneGence/LipSense, facebook party themes can make or break a party.  You want one that can “TIE” the whole party together.

PURPOSE of a Facebook Party

The purpose of a facebook party is to “recreate” the in-home party experience either because:

  1. friends and family are not close by – and it’s a way to “gather” them together
  2. you’d rather “party” in your pajamas at home (WHO wouldn’t!)

If you are looking for a course that will teach you how to ROCK Facebook Parties – THIS is it!!lipsense facebook party themes, senegence facebook party themes, senegence facebook themes, lipsense facebook themesI ONLY do EPIC Facebook parties!  I do them often and I ALWAYS get bookings off of them because quite literally – they are fun – they are fast-paced and they are themed.   Everyone loves to host them and everyone loves to attend them.  I get told ALL the time that the customer had never experienced a truly FUN Facebook party before mine.  I owe it all to this course – so if you are looking to UP your facebook party game – this is the course you MOST definitely need.

Because the ULTIMATE goal is to “recreate” the in-home experience online – having a theme makes ALL the difference! As for picking a theme – I like to let my hostess do that – if she isn’t a fan of the ones I already have prepped – we’ll create a new one together.  The content ultimately doesn’t change much – just the finishing touches that ties it all together and makes the theme party SOOO much fun!!

5 SeneGence/LipSense ENGAGING Party Themes:  

1. A Trendy Obsession – examples of this might be Harry Potter, Stranger Things, Disney Villans or anything else my current hostess LOVES.  Bring in the THEME by posting FUN pics to go with each post. TIE in puns, quotes, specifics associated with the theme.  For example in my Harry Potter themed party – when moving from one post to the next, I write “Mischief Managed” instead of “Moving on”.  It just adds personality and makes it enjoyable.  I also love to use at least one MEME if I can find one that works with the show.

2. A Seasonal Theme – examples: fall fashion, football, Valentines Day, holiday focused – “what are you doing New Years Eve?”, Summer Travels focused – pull in Pantone seasonal colors – gift giving ideas, runway makeup trends or just holiday focused fun. Offering seasonal themes pulls in customers who are drawn to those specific holidays/activities, etc.  Plus, when your options CHANGE every so often – you are bound to pull in MORE repeat hostesses.

3. BLING – girls LOVE bling, call it glitterati, bling it or something else highlighting glitz and glam, celebrity focused – easy to tie in pearlizer, shimmer/glitter shades of shadowsense and lipsense. Makeup and BLING can go together.

4. A Specific Group of Products – or more specifically WHAT the products DO for you.  Examples – if your hostess loves the bodycare products – you could most certainly do a “Bodycare party” – but you probably won’t get many guests excited to attend.  If you instead call it a “How to get Soft, silky skin in the dead of Winter party” or “How to have Spring soft skin all summer long” – it’s more intriguing.  By focusing on a few products you can go deeper and do some intense product knowledge with the guests and most likely create customers for LIFE!!  (Choose ANY set of products to do this with)

5.  Game Show – Pick yours or your hosts favorite Game Show and emulate it in your Facebook Party – each post being in question format and giving each QUESTION points and let the winning TEAM get FREE shipping on their orders. Everyone loves a little competitive fun.  You’ll be amazed at how many guests chime in and play along.
