The Ultimate Guide to Espresso LipSense Mixology

Limited Edition Espresso LipSense was originally introduced in Fall 2016 as part of the Tuscany LipSense® Collection & re-introduced as part of the Cafe LipSense Collection in Fall 2019. LipSense Mixology : The ART of Layering LipSense

The skill of mixing LipSense® is called LipSense Mixology.  Since, LipSense is applied in three layers – custom colors can easily be created just by changing the order in which colors are applied or switching up the colors used.  The ART of mixing – is honestly being brave enough to TRY!  EVERYONE has the ability to become an EXPERT LipSense Mixologist!  (Try it, I DARE YOU!) I love to create custom colors that “match” or complement whatever I am wearing. So, let’s try it with Espresso LipSense Combos.

Look at HOW DIFFERENT these photos look – and EACH one uses Espresso LipSense for at least one layer.

Espresso LipSense Combos

With just 2 LipSense® LipColor tubes – you can make 8 custom colors based on how you mix them.  For example: if you have Espresso (color A) and She’s Apples (color B) – you can mix it the following ways: AAA, AAB, ABA, BAA or BBB, BBA, BAB, ABB.  Just by changing HOW you layer Espresso Lipstick – changes the color.

Now if you add in one more color – so you now have 3 LipSense® LipColor tubes in total – you can make 27 different combinations. 27!!!!! As your collection of LipSense grows – so does your ability to create those custom colors (exponentially, in fact!).
